Privacy policy
This policy describes how we handle personal information on rditrials.com and related online services we operate for sponsors and visitors.
Last updated July 2026
Research & Development Institute (“RDI,” “RDI Trials,” or “we”) is a specialty IVD contract research organization based in Van Nuys, California. This policy covers personal information collected through our website and related online forms — not clinical-trial subject data collected under a separate study protocol, informed consent, or sponsor agreement.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact and inquiry details you submit on forms — typically name, company, email address, and a description of your study or request.
- Resource-download details when you request a white paper, report, or similar file — typically name, email, optional company, and consent to receive the link.
- Job-application information if you apply through our careers pages, which are powered by Workable (subject to Workable's own privacy practices for the application flow).
- Usage and device data such as pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, and similar technical information collected through analytics tools.
- Search queries you enter on this site, which we may use to improve content and measure product interest.
We do not ask for insurance type or similar patient-eligibility fields on this marketing site. Phone numbers are collected only if you choose to provide them (for example by calling us or including a number in a message).
How we use personal information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to sponsor and visitor inquiries
- Send requested resources and related follow-up
- Operate, secure, and improve the website
- Understand which topics and samples visitors search for
- Support recruiting when you apply for a role
- Comply with law and enforce our terms
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on this site. In particular:
- Google Tag Manager loads analytics, advertising, and related tags (including Google Analytics / GA4 and Google Ads tags as configured in our container). Those tools may set cookies or use local storage to measure traffic, campaigns, and conversions.
- Advertising and measurement tags (for example Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags fired through Tag Manager) may collect browsing behavior, cookie identifiers, device/browser information, and approximate location derived from IP address so that Google and related vendors can measure ad performance, attribute conversions, and — where enabled — personalize ads.
- Vercel Analytics helps us understand site performance and usage. Vercel's web analytics product is designed to operate without traditional advertising cookies; see Vercel's documentation for current details.
- Embedded third parties (for example YouTube video embeds or the Workable careers widget) may set their own cookies when you interact with those features.
- Cookie consent — where enabled, we use CookieYes (or an equivalent consent tool) to present a cookie banner and preference center so you can accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may limit some site features.
The cookie list below is generated automatically by CookieYes and describes the cookies used on this site:
Service providers and sharing
We share personal information with service providers that process it on our behalf, and — for advertising and analytics — with measurement and ad platforms that receive data as independent controllers or joint processors under their own terms. Recipients include:
- Salesforce — CRM / lead intake for inquiries and resource requests
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — website hosting and analytics
- Google — Tag Manager, Google Analytics / GA4, and Google Ads for site analytics, conversion measurement, campaign attribution, and (where enabled) ad personalization. Running these scripts means browsing behavior, cookies, and device identifiers are shared with Google for those purposes, as required by Google's advertising and measurement terms.
- CookieYes (when enabled) — cookie consent and preference management
- Workable — careers / applicant tracking when you apply
- OpenAI — optional embedding / search assistance for on-site search (query text may be processed to return results)
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Even when we are not selling data, advertising and tracking technologies inherently involve sharing certain usage data with vendors such as Google for measurement and ad delivery. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction.
Text messages (if you opt in)
If you separately opt into SMS/MMS from RDI (for example in connection with a study or appointment workflow), we use your number only for the communications you consented to. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also contact us at info@rditrials.com or 818-224-4235.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry and CRM records for as long as needed for business follow-up, relationship management, and legal compliance — not only for the duration of a single form submission. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of those tools. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
External links and embeds
This site may link to or embed third-party services (professional networks, video hosts, careers tools, and similar). We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA / CPRA to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to know the categories of information collected and disclosed. To submit a request, email info@rditrials.com with the subject line “California privacy request.” We will verify your request as required by law. We do not sell personal information. Our use of advertising and analytics cookies may be treated as “sharing” under California law; you may opt out via the cookie preference center (when available), through your browser controls, or by contacting us for further information.
Your choices
You may choose not to submit forms or download gated resources; some site features will then be unavailable. For analytics and advertising cookies, use the on-site cookie preference center when it is available, or your browser controls. For text messages (if opted in), reply STOP.
Children
This website is intended for business and professional visitors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through this marketing site.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
